Swedish Therapeutic Massage

Often referred to as the “relaxing massage.” Your Massage Therapist will use light to firm pressure and a range of long, smooth strokes.  Kneading and friction techniques are applied on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas.  Followed by going across the grain of muscles, tendons and fascia.  It is called deep tissue, because it also focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It helps reduce pain, increases range of motion, relieves muscle spasms and improves circulation.

SPORTS Massage

Sports massage can be characterized in two ways: pre-activity and post activity massage. Pre-activity uses dynamic stretching to allow connective tissue to work through a full range of motion, thereby reducing possible injury. Post-activity massage focuses on recovering the muscle tissue that may have been impacted during the particular sport. It involves long strokes to flush out the toxins that causes soreness in the muscles and joints.
